Get Out and Take Some Time to Reflect
Your Patch guide to weekend happiness and 9/11 tributes.

This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It’s important to take a moment on Sunday to stop and remember the innocent people who lost their lives, and the people who risked theirs trying to save others. But it's also important to take some time and be grateful for what you have. We’ve got a 9/11 tribute event listed below and we also have some fun weekend activities for you and the family.
This weekend, Sept. 9-11, get out and spend some time with your loved ones. Stay nearby for a yard sale, a foreclosure clinic, a book signing and beauty pageant. A memorial at Fire Station 12 will take place as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks ten years ago.
Venture out a little farther for some family fun, patriotic parades and far-away fundraisers.
