Officials Investigate Lemon Grove House Fire

LEMON GROVE, CA – Fire investigators Saturday were looking into the cause of a house fire at a Lemon Grove home, authorities said.

Crews from Heartland Fire and Rescue and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the blaze in the 2200 block of Bonita Street and had it under control at about 4:30 p.m., authorities said.

The cause of the blaze is now under investigation and residents were asked to avoid the area until about 6:30 p.m.
