• Lemon Grove votes 4-1 to hire Tony Winney as city manager, approves three-year contract (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Lemon Grove's City Council has voted 4–1 to approve a three-year contract making interim leader Tony Winney the permanent city manager, with Mayor Alysson Snow casting the lone dissenting vote. Winney, who has guided recent budget work and tenant-protection efforts, will focus on fiscal stability, economic development, and organizational structure as he leads city staff through 2029.
