Plan Ahead: Lemon Grove City Hall to Close Next Week for 12 Days

If you're looking to get business taken care of at city hall before 2013, you only have a week to do it.  And since the facility is closed on Fridays for now, that leaves four working days to take care of your needs.

Beginning next Friday, Dec. 21, Lemon Grove City Hall will be closed for nearly two weeks.  It will re-open on Jan. 2, 2013, a city announcement states.

"Building Inspections can still be scheduled for morning hours while City Hall is closed for the holidays," the alert adds.

Come Jan. 2, though, you'll have extended hours to be able to utilize the municipal services.

That's because on Dec. 4, the council lifted furloughs and decided to extend operating hours of city hall on Mondays through Thursdays.  Beginning on January 2, 2013, Lemon Grove City Hall will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday-- offering six hours more of services each week than in 2012.
