The City of Lemon Grove has published its summer edition of the Grove Gazette. The quarterly newsletter can be downloaded here or from the city's web site. It's full of information residents will want to keep on hand.
This edition of the newsletter covers the future of redevelopment in Lemon Grove in light of the Legislature's freeze on state redevelopment agencies, a budget overview, an update on the Main Street Promenade project, Public Works improvements around town and much more. There is even a feature on the brush-clearing goats.
And, mark your calendars for several upcoming events, including the Fall Festival taking place Sept. 23-25 at St. John of the Cross Church (Patch will be there—come on by and say “Hi!”), the Lemon Grove Fire Department Pancake Breakfast and Open House on Oct. 8, and the Western Round Up and Chili Cookoff on Nov. 5.
