Kill the Messenger is a political thriller film based on the true story of a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Gary Webb of San Jose Mercury News in the 90’s. His investigation takes him from the prisons of California to the villages of Nicaragua and to the corridors of Washington D.C.

Two-time Academy award nominated Jeremy Renner stars as Gary Webb whose unrelenting quest for truth recounts an emotional journey with harsh consequences affecting his career, family, marriage, and his own personal stability.
