Weekly Crime Report: June 6

Items of note from the Lemon Grove station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

  • Larry Williams, 50, was arrested on a felony allegation (spousal abuse) after an injury to an unidentified victim was reported in the 2900 block of Citronella Street on the afternoon of June 4. He was arrested without incident and booked into county Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • Deputies arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, a felony, on the evening of June 4. The arrest of Jose Sandoval followed a traffic stop at San Miguel Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • A 25-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after a disturbance was reported in the 7100 block of Westview Place on the afternoon of June 3. Ameenah Chandler was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.
  • Deputies located a runaway juvenile at Broadway and Kempf Street on the afternoon of June 2. The unidentified juvenile was detained based on a report of an outside agency, according to a report.
  • Deputies arrested  a 31-year-old man on multiple allegations after a woman reported being the victim of an auto theft in the 7500 block of Mount Vernon Street on the morning of May 31. The suspect, identified as Deon Wanton, was arrested on Graves Avenue in El Cajon several hours after the incident was reported. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on four felonies: dissuading a  witness, vehicle theft, attempted theft and damaging power lines.
  • A 25-year-old man reported being the victim of a fraud in the 7100 block of Cabernet Way on the afternoon of May 31. The victim reported losing $1,206 in an identity theft incident. No suspect information was reported.
  • Robert Wigley, 43, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being stopped in the 7800 block of North Avenue on the afternoon of May 30. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs in addition to the warrant.
  • A 36-year-old woman was arrested on felony hit-and-run allegations after allegedly injuring two people at Massachusetts Avenue and eastbound state Route 94 on the afternoon of May 29. Denise King was arrested about an hour later on Vigor Drive in La Mesa and booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on suspicion of drunken driving and causing an injury, in addition to the felony hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license with a prior DUI.
  • Lance Dearinger, 47, was arrested on Broadway during a special detail on the evening of May 29 on suspicion of driving on a suspended license with a prior drunken driving conviction. The precise location was not listed in the report. The previous night, Dorian Gasca-Garcia, 25, was arrested on the same allegation in the 6900 block of Broadway Avenue. Erick Avilez, 22, was arrested on the evening of  May 29 in the 7000 block of Broadway on the same allegation.  Also, on the evening of May 29, deputies arrested Mason Moses, 20, on a privation violation, in addition to driving with alcohol in his system while on probation for drunken driving, in addition to an additional DUI allegation.  During the same detail on the same evening, deputies arrested Dang Trinh in the 7000 block of Lemon Grove Avenue on a felony warrant, in addition to driving on a suspended license.
  • Cornelius Bowser, 23, was booked on a felony allegation after a victim reported being injured in the 3600 block of Grove Street on the afternoon of May 29. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • Three juveniles were arrested following a vehicle burglary call in the 7000 block of Russan Lane on the afternoon of May 28. Two vehicles in the area were reported broken into. The three suspects, whose names were withheld, were arrested about two hours after the incident was reported. All face juvenile justice allegations of felony burglary and vandalism with damage exceeding $400.
  • Deputies issued a citation to Eric Estrada on a misdemeanor allegation of selling liquor to minors in the 3900 block of Broadway on the evening of May 27. He was released following the citation, according to a report.
  • Three people were arrested after deputies conducted a security check in the 7400 block of Broadway around 6:30 p.m. on May 26. Ursula Reyna, 43, was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail on felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor allegations of being under the influence of drugs and possession of paraphernalia. Thomas Brown, 60, was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, while Timothy Wood, 52, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Both men were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • Mark Feyerherm, 50, was cited following a traffic stop at Kempf Street and Broadway on the evening of May 15. He is suspected of driving with a measurable amount of alcohol in his system while on probation for drunken driving. He was released following the citation, according to a report.
  • Dashun Jones, 41, was arrested after being stopped at the intersection of Central Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue on the afternoon of May 5. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Residential burglaries, hot prowls, or grand theft from buildings (items valued at $5 to $2,150):

  • 3200 block of Alford Street on the morning of June 2.
  • 3200 block of College Place on the afternoon of June 2.
  • 7800 block of Montana Street on the afternoon of June 1.
  • 2100 block of Massachusetts Avenue on the morning of May 31.
