Over 200 Vote Centers Open For Early Voting In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, CA — More than 200 vote centers across San Diego County are open Monday, giving voters the chance to cast ballots ahead of Tuesday's election.

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters said all vote centers will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. On Election Day, vote centers, official ballot drop boxes and the Registrar of Voters office will operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters can use the registrar's online map to find vote centers and view estimated wait times. Election officials encouraged residents to vote early, saying it helps speed up ballot processing and may reduce Election Day lines.

At vote centers, voters can drop off mail ballots, vote in person, receive accessibility assistance and multilingual voting materials, and register to vote or update their registration and cast a ballot on the same day.

Officials also urged voters to return mail ballots at vote centers or official ballot drop boxes as Election Day approaches. Ballots sent through the U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked by June 2 and received within seven days to be counted. Ballots returned at drop boxes or vote centers must be submitted by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
