LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police announced Wednesday that a $2,500 reward is being offered for tips that lead to the arrest of Jorge Luis Tellez, the 21-year-old man sought in the deadly shooting of 16-year-old Livermore High School student Emmanuel Moseby.

Tellez, a Livermore resident, is suspected of gunning down Moseby near a Taco Bell restaurant at 985 E. Stanley Blvd. shortly before 9:25 p.m. on July 8. The teen died from his injuries early the next morning, police said.

The night of the shooting, Moseby and Tellez got into an argument and Tellez pulled out a gun and shot the teen in the abdomen, police said. Tellez fled the scene.
