2023 Pedrozzi Scholarship Applications Open

$5.7M in scholarships awarded to Livermore students since 2008

The 2023 Pedrozzi Scholarship applications are open, and most are due February 24, 2023. Applicants need to apply online at Pedrozzi.org.

As the leading scholarship provider in Livermore, California, the Pedrozzi Foundation has awarded $5.7M in scholarships to nearly 1,600 students since 2008. The Foundation values all educational and career pursuits, so we work to defray the costs of attending vocational training programs, community colleges, and universities.

Students of all ages who are graduating, or have graduated from, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are eligible to apply for Pedrozzi Scholarships. Additionally, students who were residents of Alameda County upon high school graduation and are attending St. Patrick’s Seminary & University are eligible.

For years, the Foundation has encouraged all high school seniors to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application to access all federal, state, and school aid for which they are eligible. As of October 1, 2022, it is a high school graduation requirement. California joined seven other states in implementing a universal financial aid application completion requirement for high school seniors starting this academic year. California public high schools, including charter schools, are required to confirm that all high school seniors have completed a financial aid application or opted out from doing so. This requirement expands access to financial aid to thousands of students who may have otherwise not been aware of funds available to them. The Pedrozzi Foundation’s website is a valuable resource for learning why and how to apply for financial aid.

The 2023 Pedrozzi Scholarship awards will be at least $1,000 per year up to a maximum of 4 years. Alejandra, a 2022 scholarship recipient shares, “Thank you for believing in me and supporting my dreams and future. Being a full-time student while working and being involved in extracurricular activities isn't easy. This scholarship allows me to focus on my academics rather than worrying about paying for classes.”
