23 People Displaced In Livermore Apartment Building Fire
The Red Cross assisted a total of 19 adults and four children who were displaced due to the fire damage.
LIVERMORE, CA — The cause of a fire that damaged a Livermore apartment complex and left nearly two dozen people displaced has not been determined, a Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department battalion chief said.
The fire in the 51 block of Murdell Lane was reported around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The affected building has eight units, and the fire was contained to one second floor apartment. However, all second floor units sustained damage and an additional downstairs apartment was also damaged, according to LPFD Battalion Chief Dan Moyles.

The blaze was contained in 20 minutes. One resident was evaluated for smoke inhalation and cleared at the scene; the Red Cross assisted a total of 19 adults and four children who were displaced due to the fire damage, Moyles said.
