LIVERMORE, CA — A small personal plane crashed Wednesday afternoon just outside Livermore Municipal Airport, according to the Livermore Police Department.
At around 1:25 p.m., police received a report that a plane was down north of Jack London Boulevard and west of the airport runway, police said. The aircraft landed in vegetation, and there were no reported injuries. The crash was caused by engine failure, according to FAA data obtained by the Livermore Vine.
There was a heavy police and fire presence Wednesday as first responders assessed the scene.
