Livermore Aquacowboys Compete in the Junior Olympic Championships

The Livermore Aquacowboys competed at the 2012, 14 and under, Pacific Junior Olympic Swimming Championships. 

The Junior Olympics were held by the Morgan Hill ‘Makos’ on Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2012.  Swimming for LAC was Jared Brandey, Brandon Siu, Hunter Woffinden, Tori Carroll, Sofia Moufarrej, Dante DeMayo, Gabe Akins, Caroline Eckel, Paige Chew, Jacqueline Arnold, Amanda Butcher, Alex Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzalez, Franco Moufarrej, Taber DaCosta, Sarah Swanson, Celine Nguyen, Connor Campbell, Megan Fairbanks, Nick Coltrin and Matthew Hayes. 

The swimmers braved three days of rain, wind and lightning delays to race to some new far Western times and new personal best times.  The event hosted over 1,000 swimmers for the competition.

The Livermore Aquacowboys train at the Livermore Valley Tennis Club with Coach Alex Silver, Coach Lisa White, Coach Leslie Dabney and Coach Kevin.
