BART to Livermore Extension Update

BART Board to vote on May 24 (Thu)

We are down to wire since BART is planning to vote on whether BART will extend to Livermore on May 24th. We need 2 more votes, for a total of 5. Right now the 9 BART Board members are split as follows: 3 for Conventional BART (Allen, Blalock and McPartland), 3 for Bus (Josefowitz, Raburn, Saltzman) and 3 Undecided (Dufty, Keller, Simon).

Please help the BART2Livermore Coalition (http://BART2Livermore.org):

4) Attend the BART Board meeting and testify "We want a conventional BART station in Livermore." The BART Board will vote at their meeting on Thursday May 24th at 5 pm. It is held in the BART Board Room (3rd floor, 2040 Webster St, Oakland, CA).

I know some of you do not want BART in Livermore. You are in luck. Without these actions it will never come to Livermore.
