Beloved Christmas Dinosaur Stolen from Livermore Yard
Have you seen "Santi"? A Livermore family is looking for him.
LIVERMORE, CA — December 16, 2016 will be a day the Ramirezes never forget. It was the day a Grinch stole the Livermore family’s Christmas dinosaur. When the Ramirez family bought the giant inflatable two years ago, their young children named it “Santi” and their mother says they used to say goodnight to it before bed.
According to Yamiletth Ramirez, Santi, along with his strings and ground stakes, were stolen from their front yard sometime between 11:30 p.m. and midnight while the adults were home and awake. The disturbing dino theft was reported to police and Ramirez knows it is a long shot but her Christmas wish is to find Santi, which has been discontinued and can no longer be purchased and bring him home to the 500 block of Humboldt Way for the children.
Santi is a Tyrannosaurus rex with a Christmas gift in his mouth and between his feet. He is green and wears a Santa hat. Santi moves his head when he is plugged in. If you have seen Santi, contact the Livermore Police Department.
