Shooting on Arroyo Trail in Livermore Leaves One Man Hospitalized

Police say the suspects are still at large.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the Arroyo Trail Tuesday afternoon, police officials said. According to police, the shooting was reported in the 1000 block of Murrieta Boulevard at about 1:15 p.m.

When officers arrived they discovered a 25-year-old man suffering from a gun shot wound to the abdomen. Two men in their 20s had confronted the victim and then shot him, police said. Police say the suspects likely fled southbound across the creek. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The suspects remain at large.

At least one witness reported hearing multiple shots in the area. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Livermore Police at 925-371-4777.
