Brush Fire Near Livermore Quickly Contained
There were no reports of injuries or structure damage caused by the blaze that broke out Monday night.

LIVERMORE, CA — A 2-acre brush fire that broke out Monday night near Livermore has been fully contained, Cal Fire reported. Crews from the Alameda County Fire Department and Cal Fire responded to the blaze on Mendenhall Road, just south of city limits, around 8:19 p.m.
The blaze was originally estimated to be 5 acres, but Cal Fire downsized it.
The fire was quickly contained, and there were no reports of injuries or structure damage. The fire was caused by a vehicle accident over the embankment, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
