Join Wood Family Vineyards for a relaxing afternoon filled with music, great wine, and good vibes at our Acoustic Piano Open Mic event. You can sip your favorite Wood Family Wine while you enjoy the show, or if you're a music lover, you can sing or play a song. Invite all your friends to come along.

The Wood&nbsp;Family Vineyards'&nbsp;tasting room will be open from noon to 7 pm. Kiddie Academy of Livermore will host Hero Play Day on Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.

The new hands-on event will be an opportunity for children to dress up as their favorite superhero and participate in “training” stations set up around the Academy, including obstacle courses, strength tests and kindness missions.

DRESS A GIRL AROUND THE WORLD! Consider this an invitation to make simple dresses for girls in third world countries! We meet once a month and our next Sew-Fest is Saturday, August 1, from 9 am to 3 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1020 Mocho St., Livermore.
We need all kinds of help, sewing, ironing, cutting; bring your sewing machine or serger, iron, ironing board, scissors, along with your helping hands and we will put you to work!
You can come for as long as you want--an hour or all day! (Please bring a bag lunch if you plan to stay all day!) We are always accepting cheerful cotton fabric donations! 2024 Petite Sirah paired with Brabander Goat Gouda A Dutch goat's milk cheese aged over 8 months. Bright and creamy, with a clean tang, notes of caramel and toffee, and a smooth, mellow finish.
2022 "Big Wood" Zinfandel paired with Alter Fritz Alpine Cheese A German-style Alpine cow's milk cheese, mountain-aged and firm. Nutty and full-bodied, with savory richness, hints of sweet cream, and a smooth, satisfying finish.
