Come celebrate St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and creation, with a fun, family-friendly afternoon celebrating the special bond we share with our four-legged friends! ❤️🐶🐱
We’ll have something for everyone, including:
🐐 Little Red Barnyard Petting Zoo — 11 AM–1 PM 🐶 Tracy Dog Girls Rescue Adoption Event — 11 AM–1 PM 🐱 Feral Cat Foundation — adoptable cats 🌿 Pet Blessings — 12–2 PM 🌭 Hot Dogs provided by the Asbury Fellowship Team 🎨 Kids’ Activities &amp; Games 🐾 And more!
Pets of all kinds are welcome! If your pet is sensitive or reactive around other animals, we recommend coming between 1–2 PM for a quieter time for pet blessings.
We’re also collecting donations to support local animal shelters and rescues. Bring your gently used towels and blankets, old newspapers, or dog treats to help our furry friends in need!
Whether you bring a pet, come to meet some adoptable animals, or simply want to enjoy a fun afternoon with your family, we hope you’ll join us! 🐾❤️

What does it take to play? Only a little, just $10 per guest in advance or $15 at the door. All guests will need a ticket for the event.&nbsp;
Each game card can be used for 4 games, and each round can last between 20 and 45 minutes. Trivia questions are scattered throughout the game and can be answered right from your phone. The games take place from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Working with a variety of media—including acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and more—participants will refine their understanding of color, composition, value, and brushwork while exploring more advanced techniques and creative approaches. Wines purchased by the case quantity (unopened, twelve bottles per case) only. One case minimum purchase. Must be purchased and picked up at the time of sale. In person only. No online ordering. Join the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department for our 2026 Fire Safety Expo on Saturday, October 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the LPFD Training Tower in Pleasanton.
This free community event is about more than watching firefighters in action. It is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and take simple steps to help your household be better prepared.
Community members will have the opportunity to:
📌Watch live firefighter demonstrations
📌Participate in fire extinguisher training
📌Meet local CERT members and learn more about community preparedness
📌Sign up for emergency notification systems and other preparedness resources
📌Bring the kids out for our obstacle course and family friendly activities
🥞 Enjoy a free pancake breakfast hosted by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation.
