LIVERMORE, CA — The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau Wednesday confirmed the identity of a man who died in a collision on North Vasco Road in the early morning last week.

The victim of a two-vehicle head-on collision has been identified as 28-year-old Chad Flores of Brentwood. The identity of the other driver has not been released.

The crash occurred just before 3:42 a.m. near the intersection of North Vasco Road near Dalton Avenue, just outside city limits. While Flores was driving southbound on Vasco Road, the driver of a Honda Accord allowed his car to travel into oncoming traffic, CHP Officer Tyler Hahn told Patch.
