ARIA Technologies Inc. is a fast growing company with immediate available entry level positions for full-time Fiber Optic Technicians.

Summary:

Routes cable, loads panels and performs other duties in assembling fiber optic connectivity products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
Selects wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loops wires between guide pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagram.
Applies sealing liquid to secure knots in ties.
Attaches ends of wires to components, plugs, or cable box.
Inserts cable in plastic tubing or injects plastic sealant around terminals to protect cable from dust and moisture.
Tests wiring continuity with continuity tester.
Marks identifying data on completed product.

Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to understand weight measurement and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to do specific tasks over a long period of time
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must show up to work on time and ready for instruction.
Swing Shift working hours are from 3:30pm to 12:00am. Position is Mon-Fri. Must be able to work full time (40 hours per week).
No experience required.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation.

No experience needed, we offer on-the-job training in assembling fiber optic cable assemblies and panels. Communication is important, so the people we are looking for must understand (read and/or speak) English.

We are looking for smart people who understand directions. Being bi-lingual is an advantage.
This entry level position starts at $10.50 per hour and offers medical benefits, a 401K plan, profit sharing packages and vacation accumulation after 90 days.
