Disabled Big Rig On I-580 Ran Out Of Gas: CHP

The CHP said the truck ran out of gas and stalled in one of the lanes on the busy freeway early Friday morning.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A Sig-alert issued for westbound Interstate 580 west of Grant Line Road in Alameda County near Livermore Friday morning due to a disabled big rig in the road has been lifted, the California Highway Patrol said. The traffic hazard was reported at about 4 a.m.

The CHP said the truck ran out of gas and stalled in the number three lane on the busy freeway. The CHP issued the alert at 4:35 a.m. No other information is available.
