The women and children who come to Shepherd’s Gate are seeking to start a new life. They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. Come join us for weekend two of our Fall Festival.  Saturday from 11am - 12pm "Adding color to the Landscape" class will solve the age old question of What's the difference between an annual and perinnial?  Class is $5 and bring a friend for free!  1pm - 2pm Melissa Reading of the Daffodil Society will be doing a class "Plan a glorious spring in small spaces".  We also transformed our gift shop to reflect the holidays!  Get a jump on our Holiday open house with the best selection of holiday ornaments and gifts for the fall!

She is also the cohost of the podcast Now That We Think About It. Home of the American Circus, her most recent book, is a deeply moving novel that explores broken families, the weight of the past, and the complicated journey or finding home.&nbsp;The venue is across from the original Livermore parking garage on Railroad Ave. and is adjacent to the front entrance of&nbsp;&nbsp;the Bankhead Theater.
