To raise funds for the Livemore High School Safe and Sober Grad Night event, Livermore High School parents are holding a giant rummage sale and plant sale on Saturday, May 14th from 8 am until 3 pm. The sale will be held in the student parking lot on the corner of 4th Street, Church Street, and Cowboy Alley. The parents will also be collecting donations to sell at the rummage sale, aluminum cans for recycling, and cash donations at the event.
Businesses, teams, clubs, and individuals can rent a space at the rummage sale for $25. To rent a space, contact Teri Edwards at (925) 352-7460 or creativeteri@att.net .
Statistics indicate that graduation night is one of the most tragic nights for young people in America. In various cities and towns all across America, somebody's teenager will be killed on graduation night this year. The parents of Livermore’s graduating students want to do all they can to ensure that Livermore isn't one of those towns. Both Livermore and Granada High Schools are hosting Safe and Sober Grad night events to keep the grads in a safe environment and away from the temptation of alcohol. Please support these events.
