Flash Mob Wedding Proposal at Livermore Premium Outlets: Did She Say Yes?
Watch and find out.
By AUTUMN JOHNSON
Union City native Edward Mariano popped the question to his sweetheart Shannon Corso by taking a very unique and certainly memorable approach to proposing while shopping at the Livermore Premium Outlets.
As Corso realized the dance was meant for her, she wiped tears from her cheeks.
"I love you more than all of the stars in the sky or all of the fish in the sea," Mariano told Corso. "Just being with you has made me a better man and closer to God. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to grow old with you and start a family."
On bended knee, in front of a crowded shopping center, Mariano asked Corso to marry him. She said yes.
Bay Area videographer Ken Guanga, who helped film the event, told Patch about the couple and the proposal in Livermore on March 23.
"Edward was actually with Shannon and his sisters inside Michael Kors before the flash mob started," Guanga said. "They were suppose to be buying a birthday gift for his mom. He pretended that he had to go to the bathroom while his sisters kept Shannon distracted inside Michael Kors."
The dance to Jason Derulo's "Marry Me" was performed by the SF Flash Mob Crew.
