Girl Scout Troop ‘Blessing Box’ Will Benefit Residents In Need
The troop will restock the box regularly for a year and the project will help them earn their "good citizen" badges.
LIVERMORE, CA — A Girl Scout Troop in Livermore will be providing a steady supply of canned food and personal hygiene items for community members in need. The girls decorated, stocked and installed a blessing box at Tri-Valley Church of Christ in Livermore in late November.
The community outreach is part of the troop’s 'Brownie Quest Journey Take Action Project’ and will help the girls earn their "good citizen" badges. The troop will restock the box regularly for a year.
