Granada High Grad Is One of Pleasanton's Newest Police Officers
The new officers will undergo a sixteen-week field training process before being assigned to patrol.
Pleasanton, CA— The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Department are excited to welcome two new police officers.
Officers Joshua Cerri and Nicole Evans were sworn in on Thursday, June 30, 2016 and begin their service to the Pleasanton community. Both officers are recent graduates of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Police Academy.
Cerri was born and raised in Pleasanton. In 2008, he participated in the City of Pleasanton Police Department’s Teen Academy, inspiring him to pursue a career in law enforcement. After graduating from Amador Valley High School, Cerri attended Arizona State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Public Service and Public Policy with an emphasis in Criminology.

Evans was born and raised in Livermore and graduated from Granada High School. She possesses an Associate degree from Las Positas College in Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Social Science. Her father is a Deputy with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
Both Officers look forward to serving the Pleasanton community. They will undergo a sixteen-week field training process before being assigned to patrol Pleasanton as solo officers.
