Home Burglar Sought In Livermore: SEE VIDEOS
Surveillance videos captured the suspect's image during the Monday morning break-in. Recognize him?

LIVERMORE, CA – The Livermore Police Department this week released two surveillance videos from a Monday morning home burglary in the Escondido Circle neighborhood hoping the public can aid with identification of the male suspect.
The videos appear to show the man approaching the home, which he entered by forcing open the front door, and then leaving the residence, police said.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the department at (925) 371-4777. Information can be given anonymously.

"We want to remind our residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles that are observed," the agency said. "Community members can call directly in to our Dispatch Center by calling (925) 371-4987."
Police also advised residents to follow the following steps to reduce the chances of becoming burglary victims.

- Lock up when leaving home, even if you plan to be gone for a short time.
- Install alarm and security camera systems, and ensure they are operational and being used.
- Join existing Neighborhood Watch programs or start a new Neighborhood Watch to get to know neighbors and take part in being on the lookout for suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
- Install security screens on access doors.
- Ensure your home looks occupied, and do not let mail or newspapers accumulate.
- Have adequate exterior lighting; motion-sensitive lights are recommended.
- Trim trees and shrubs so they cannot be used as hiding places.
- Keep detailed inventories of valuables, including descriptions of the items, dates of purchase and original value, and serial numbers. Keep a copy in a safe place away from home. Make photographic or video records of valuable objects, heirlooms and antiques. Mark items with your driver license number.
