Livermore Boy’s Holiday Decorations Labor Of Love
Livermore middle schooler Nolan Myrick, 12, loves to set up the festive lights display each year.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore middle schooler Nolan Myrick loves to decorate for Christmas. Although they are relatively new to the Kensington Common area, Nolan’s family says he started his annual decorating routine the morning after Thanksgiving. Nolan, 12, eagerly decorates both yards and the inside of their home.
"He lights up when people stop outside to compliment his hard work," Colleen Myrick, Nolan’s proud mom, told Patch. "He loves to make others happy. He and his older brother Connor made this video for us to share."
His mom said he cares more about decorating the house and buying gifts for family than receiving anything.The Andrew N. Christensen Middle schooler said he loves "to blow out a bunch of fuses" while getting all of the holiday lights to work.
