Some of the people with connections to Livermore who passed away recently

John Bolstad, a resident of Livermore, worked at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 23 years. He enjoyed classical music, opera, fine cuisine and the arts. Bolstad passed away on July 16 at the age of 66.
Linda Rivera, a resident of Livermore, was a special needs teaching assistant. She volunteered at her children's schools as well as at their athletic events. Rivera passed away on July 13 at the age of 61.
Robert Ware, a resident of Livermore, served as a firefighter in the U.S. Navy. He was hired in 1959 by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as fire marshal. After his retirement, he established the Las Positas Technical Services Co., a fire protection business. He was also founding director of the California Firemen's Muster Association. Ware passed away on July 21 at the age of 87.
