Livermore Eatery Voted ‘Best East Bay BBQ Restaurant’

Diablo Magazine released its annual list of winners and one Livermore restaurant smoked the competition.

LIVERMORE, CA — A popular First Street restaurant has recently been awarded the “Best BBQ” in the East Bay title by Diablo Magazine. Sauced BBQ & Spirits in Livermore took this year’s top spot at the grill.

Sauced, which is located at 2300 First Street, is a mainstay for locals in need of a weekly barbecue fix. The eatery features live music on the weekends and their deep-fried Oreos are a legendary indulgence in Tri-Valley. Sauced was also among the list of Livermore restaurants residents recently said deserve national attention.

Rodney Worth, a well-known San Ramon and Danville restaurateur, was named “Best Chef” by the Magazine for the seventh year in a row. Worth owns seven Bay Area restaurants, including The Peasant and The Pear, which holds a spot on a foodie bucket list of must-try Northern California restaurants.
