Livermore Gymnast to be Inducted into Hall of Fame

Livermore’s Michael Rodrigues will be inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

The U.S. governing body for competitive gymnastics announced the 2015 inductees, including Rodrigues and his partner Kristin Allen won the USA’s first World Games gold medal in acrobatic gymnastics as a mixed pair in 2009, repeating again the next year.

They left gymnastics after the 2010 Worlds to perform with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.

Rodrigues has resumed his gymnastics training with a goal of competing at the 2016 World Championships.
