Livermore High Choral Teams Win Big at Music Festival
The high school's choral teams won several divisions at the Music in the Parks Festival in Placentia.
The Livermore High School Chamber Choral won first place in the Mixed Choir 1 Division section of the Music in the Parks Festival in Placentia on May 28.
In addition, the Livermore High Show Choir won first place in the Show Division and Concert Choir won third place in the Mixed Choir 2 Division of the festival.
The festival is the last of performances by the school’s choral students. Performances this year included Godspell, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Reach for the Stars, Livermore Valley Education Foundation’s Make Time for Music, Choral Pops Concert and even a recording session at Expression Studios in Emeryville.
