Livermore Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade, Tree Lighting 2017
Plan ahead to avoid road closures and heavy traffic associated with the parade and holiday festivities.

LIVERMORE, CA — The East Bay community is invited to the upcoming Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade on Saturday, December 2 in downtown Livermore. Hundreds are expected to turn out for the popular parade and traffic in the area may be heavy, according to police.
Police said the parade will travel along First Street and the tree lighting will take place afterward at Livermorium Park. The parade steps off at 6 p.m.
Earlier in the day, the community can enjoy carriage rides, vendors and holiday entertainment between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Lizzie Fountain.

Several roads will be closed due to the parade.
- First Street will be closed from Maple Street to South N Street.
- Second Street will be closed from McLeod Street to South N Street.
- All of the cross streets between First Street and Third Street to include Livermore Avenue west toward South M Street will be closed to traffic.
