Livermore Laundromat Dryers Catch Fire
The damaged equipment was removed from the building.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters extinguished a small fire inside a Livermore laundromat on Monday afternoon, fire officials said. Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews were sent to investigate a report of smoke inside the Advantage Laundry located at S. L and First streets just before 12:30 p.m.
Smoke and flames were visible from at least two of the dryers inside. Firefighters extinguished the flames and helped remove the smoke, which filled the laundromat and adjoining businesses. The damaged equipment was removed from the building and the business resumed normal operations a short time later.
No one was injured during the fire and no other businesses were damaged.
