Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters’ Pink Shirts Supports Local Breast Cancer Survivors

Shirts can be purchased during the month of October.

PLEASANTON, CA — Firefighters in Pleasanton and Livermore will be wearing breast cancer awareness t-shirts while on duty during the month of October. The firefighters will also be selling pink t-shirts to raise funds for the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation. The HERS Foundation provides post-surgical products and services to cancer survivors, regardless of financial status.

Shirts are $15 each and $5 of each shirt sold will go directly to HERS foundation in Pleasanton.

The t-shirts were printed by Sonoma Designs, where Captain Paul Chenkovich's nephew, Nick Delorenzo, works. Chenkovich died the morning of Nov. 5, 2013 after a three year battle with job-related brain cancer.
