Livermore Police Arrest Man With Loaded Gun, 3 Pounds Of Marijuana
Police say the man was convicted of violent felonies and driving on a license suspended due to a DUI.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a convicted felon with three pounds of marijuana and a loaded handgun over the weekend.
On Saturday at 3 a.m., Livermore police stopped a car on North Vasco Road near Scenic Drive for a traffic violation, the department said. The 48-year-old driver reportedly had a suspended license for a DUI.
Officers searched the car, and found a loaded 9-millimeter Glock gun with an extended magazine in the front passenger seat, and three pounds of marijuana.

The driver, whom police say has been convicted for violent felonies, was arrested on several charges, including possessing a handgun, and transported to jail. No further information about the suspect was given.
