Livermore Police Department’s Newest Officer May Need the Community’s Help
Elf Officer Miranda Rights is on temporary assignment from the North Pole.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore’s newest officer will spend the next few weeks watching to see who’s been naughty and who’s been nice and filing those behavior reports with Santa. Elf Officer Miranda Rights was sworn in by Chief Michael Harris this week and will soon be hitting the streets of Livermore.
“Miranda is new to Livermore; you may see her around town, possibly lost and unable to find her way back to the Police Department,” police officials said via social media. “If you see a picture of Miranda on our Facebook page and can identify the location, please let us know!”
Police officials said that while Officer Rights is in training and on patrol in Livermore she is not bound by the traditional elf rules and can be touched but will not lose her magic.
