Livermore Residents Invited to Feel the Power of the Force
Calling all Jedi Knights! This Livermore neighborhood knows how to celebrate Halloween.
Calling all Jedi Knights! You don’t have to travel to Southern California to visit the Star Wars Galaxy. One neighborhood in Livermore, CA has been thoroughly promoting Halloween excitement for 16 years. In 2015 the Force is being “awakened” for both adults and kids to enjoy. John Staton has joined forces with long-time neighbors, Kevin and Lisa Gemberling, to create an interstellar space experience.
Come Halloween evening and walk through the rebel rebellion loading dock, complete with X-wing fighters with clearance to take off. If the force is strong with you come and help fight against the dark side. We have heard rumors that there may be characters roaming around and some Storm Troopers might take you hostage!
Smaller trick-or-treaters can climb inside one of the X-wing fighters to take a ride, complete with cockpit controls and post for a photo. Come enjoy this galaxy far, far away and say hello to this super neighborhood who has embraced Halloween and invited others to join in the fun.

When: October 31st (display will remain through the weekend and will operate at nights so long as visitors are present) open on November 1st)
Many houses in the neighborhood do it up big so please walk down Winding Stream Drive and the adjacent streets to enjoy the sites.
Attendance has grown over the years, prompting the street to close to traffic for safety reasons. Please drive safely and watch for children.
The Staton house has become an annual community event for Livermore residents and friends across Alameda, Santa Clara and Contra Costa County. Thank you to all those who have spent countless hours building these annual displays and supporting John in his vision. Thanks especially to Jeremy “Germ” Travis, Kevin and Lisa Gemberling, Dave and Logan Warner, Bruce Anderson, Bob Martin and many other contributors.
