Livermore School District Sets Dates For Kindergarten Fairs

LIVERMORE, CA - The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) will host its Annual Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten Fair Feb. 25, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Feb. 26, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Cresta Blanca Room at the Robert Livermore Community Center.

All LVJUSD elementary and K-8 schools will be represented at the Fair. An administrator and staff person from each school site will be on site to welcome parents, answer questions and help direct parents through the registration process for enrollment in fall of 2016.

In addition to completing the registration, parents can also speak with LVJUSD nurses about immunizations, allergies and other health concerns; Campus Catering regarding the school lunch program; and representatives of the Special Education Deparatment. Parents will also learn about additional resources available to them such as Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) before and after school day care programs; the Livermore Library, AXIS Community Health Services and CAPE Headstart program.

Parents need only attend one day.
