
LIVERMORE, CA — A new eatery specializing in breakfast, lunch and small plates recently opened in Livermore. Monica’s Livermore celebrated a soft opening at the end of July, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The menu features coffee, craft beers and items prepared using locally grown and organic ingredients. The restaurant is hiring. Monica’s is located at 2074 Second Street in Livermore.
In nearby Dublin, Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que opened in the building formerly occupied by the Elephant Bar. Down the street, a new craft beer bar will soon move into the Hacienda Crossings Shopping Center in Dublin. World Of Beer Kitchen & Bar will open later this year in the building formerly home to Johnny Garlic's, which closed in January of 2018, a few years after celebrity chef and Santa Rosa resident Guy Fieri sold his share of the company to focus on other projects.

A new Asian-themed shopping center recently celebrated its grand opening in Pleasanton. The 112,000-square-foot Pacific Pearl Shopping Center is anchored around the Ranch 99 Market and features a variety of eateries.
In Danville, San Ramon-based Fat Maddie's will soon open a second restaurant into the space formerly occupied by the Fieldhouse Sports Grill.
