Chef/owner Jorge Magalloi is a true culinary artist and his canvas is the rich Mediterannean inspired menu. The tastefully appointed dining room and the impeccable service are simply extensions of the Chef. Mr. Magalloi runs a tight ship as they say, and when you visit Piccola Casa you will be impressed from start to finish.
A recent voyage to Piccola Casa began with an appetizer of 'Roasted garlic crab stuffed prawns' washed down with a deliciously buttery chardonnay. The wine list at Piccola Casa is loaded with some of Livermore's best winery's, and many are offered by the glass, a lovely little touch that one wishes more restaurants would offer.
Our evening entree's included the 'Pistachio Crusted Lamb Sirloin' so tender you could cut it with a fork, and the 'Eggplant Parmesan' served with Mediterannean pasta salad in a basil aioli. Magalloi's servings were generously portioned but so delicious that we finished every bite. (Good God this can be a tough job at times...) All in all we can recommend Piccola Casa to anyone looking for a romanic rendezvous or simply a delightful dining experience.
