Tri-Valley Police Offer Tips On Protecting Kids From Online Bullies
"With schools back in session, a growing problem, especially among teenagers, is cyberbullying," the Livermore Police Department said.
LIVERMORE, CA — As the school year gets underway, the Livermore Police Department issued a reminder to parents to be mindful of youth cyberbullying, along with tips to handle such online incidents.
"With schools back in session, a growing problem, especially among teenagers, is cyberbullying," the agency said, noting that cyberbullying can range from embarrassing or cruel posts on social media to digital pictures, online threats, harassment, negative comments or stalking.

- Avoid escalating the situation;

- Block and report on social media;
