No Armed Man Found In Livermore After Police Search
Police searched the area of Las Positas Road from Mines Road to N. Livermore Avenue after receiving a report of an armed person.
LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department said it received a report of a man with a gun near Las Positas Road Monday afternoon, but did not find anyone after a thorough search of the area.
Police initially called on the public to stay away from Las Positas Road from Mines Road to North Livermore Avenue as they conducted their search. Residents reported a large police presence in the area.
Police did not find anyone matching the description, nor did anyone report injuries or being the victim of a crime.
