Livermore 4th of July Fireworks: Road Closures, Parking
The fireworks show will last about twenty minutes.

Livermore, CA— Several streets will be closed for the annual 4th of July fireworks in downtown Livermore on Monday. According to police, the closures will start at 4 p.m. and will remain in effect through midnight.
The community is encouraged to walk or use public transportation, if possible, as traffic delays will likely last from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Police say the downtown parking garage will be closed to vehicles from 4:00 pm until about midnight.

"Vehicles may park in the garage prior to 4:00 pm, but will not be able to leave the garage until the road closures have been lifted," police said.

- First St. will be closed between Old First St.
- South “L” St. Railroad Ave. will be closed between Maple St.
- South “L” St. Maple St. will be closed between Third St.
- Railroad Ave. S. Livermore Ave. will be closed between Second St. and Chestnut St.
Extra officers will be on patrol and residents are reminded that all fireworks are illegal in Livermore.

Not interested in watching from downtown? Those who want to get a unique view of the Fourth of July fireworks in the Tri-Valley can take a hike in Livermore. The Livermore Area Recreation and Parks District is hosting the second annual fireworks hike in Sycamore Grove Park at 8 p.m. on 4th of July.
