SEE: Adorable Owl Dangling From Lamp Post Rescued By Firefighters

PLEASANTON, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department rescued an owl Monday morning in Pleasanton after it became entangled in a string and was stuck, hanging from a lamp post.

Around 7 a.m., firefighters discovered the owl had become ensnared in a kite string. It hung in midair over Paseo Del Cajon.

Firefighters freed the owl and took it to receive a medical evaluation.

"We are pleased to report the owl is doing OK despite a rough night!" firefighters wrote.
