DESCRIPTION:
Prospero, a man exiled to a deserted island with his 3-year old daughter, realizes that after 12 years the stars have aligned to give him the opportunity for rescue. He has only a few hours, and with the help of magic sprites and control of the elements he might succeed. If successful, his daughter, Miranda, now a young woman will have the chance to marry and return to a civilized society, but the cost is great: Prospero must give up magic and his experience of power. Enjoy Livermore Shakespeare Festival’s quality, accessible Shakespeare with Wente Vineyard’s renowned brand of casual elegance for an unforgettable wine country experience.
