I-580 Lanes In Livermore Close After Shots Fired At Truck

LIVERMORE, CA — Part of Interstate 580 closed Sunday near Livermore after a woman said someone shot at her pickup truck, media outlets reported.

The westbound lanes of I-580 closed Sunday afternoon after a woman told authorities her pickup truck was shot at, multiple media outlets reported. The woman drove to an off-ramp and the part of the interstate closed near North Livermore Avenue.

The highway reopened after around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, 511 SF tweeted. Helicopter video appeared to show two damaged vehicles on the side of the freeway. A dark four-door sedan showed side damage and was stopped against a guardrail. A dark colored SUV showed back-end damage.
