Famed Pizzeria 'Slice House' Opening First Tri-Valley Location In February

LIVERMORE, CA — Slice House, a fast-casual pizza franchise owned by 13-time world pizza champion and Fremont native, Tony Gemignani, will open a Livermore location in February, the company announced.

Slice House will open its first Tri-Valley location at 1948 1st Street, a location that can seat 36 people and will have outdoor patio seating for 18. The restaurant will offer award-winning menus of New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit-style pizzas; pastas, wings, salads, and gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The drink menu will offer craft beers, premium wines, and non-alcoholic sodas and juices.

"Having grown up in the East Bay, it’s especially exciting to see Slice House expanding into a community so closely connected to my roots," founder Tony Gemignani said in a statement. "Slice House was built on a passion for craft and community, and we’re eager to bring that same energy to Livermore, creating a welcoming place where neighbors can come together and experience the quality and care behind every Slice House pizza."

The Livermore location will be located next door to the Legacy at Livermore Apartment Complex and is within walking distance of several downtown locations, including Café Calamari, First Street Alehouse, Maple Street Eatery, Sauced BBQ, and more. It will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
