Tri-Valley Man Serving In U.S. Navy Welcomed Home
The homecoming was hosted by the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Tri-Valley community recently gave a Livermore man a warm welcome home. Scott Bennett, who currently serves in the United States Navy, came home to Livermore for a brief visit during the holidays after a recent deployment to Syria. Pleasanton Military Families, a nonprofit that supports local troops and their families, organized the homecoming event.
Bennett was welcomed by friends, family, members of the American Legion, VFW, Pleasanton Military Families, Association of the United States Army and the mayors of Livermore and Pleasanton. Bennett’s family hosted an open house attended by friends and family.
Bennett graduated from high school in Fremont and his family moved to Livermore when he joined the service.
